How pathetic, new town, no friends, shopping on my own Riley wandered into the nearest shop, clothes, old clothes, vintage clothes. As in the clothes that have frills around the bottom of the dresses that touch your feet - and they're the revealing ones. Quickly finding the exit she made sure to have a better look at the next one. yeah, this is my kind of place She found herself in a tack shop, shining bridles hung on the wall, feed buckets where piled in the corner, bits were on display on a stand near the bridles. Riley walked over to the saddles, first looking at the cheaper ones but soon finding her way to the expensive ones. I could use one of these ... She thought, wishing she was back home where all she'd have to do is make a phone call to dad and he'd have it at home by the time she got there. But no, they weren't at home any more, and with Sarah's stable just starting up Riley was under strict instructions, if she wanted to live with her sister she wasn't to go on any thousand dollar spending trips.
Sure, the two sisters got along fine, but for as long as their dad was sick of Riley getting herself into trouble she either had to go to a boarding school for after year 10, or stay with Sarah and not have to go to year 11 and 12. Of course Riley choose go with her sister, but their dad wasn't about to pay for her. Sarah could take what she needed to get horses for her stable and what not, but not Riley. If nothing changed between the father and daughter Riley was likely to be getting very little from her father for a very long time.
Sighing she walked away from the saddle. It's not like I need it anyway, my saddle is fine. She told herself, trying but failing to comfort her sudden lack of funds ... maybe she could get a job? Pay for herself ... yeah, right, Riley working, not likely.

Gissey Carefully looked around in the Equine Store. Carefully examining everything she would consider. It could have no Errors. Shopping was no longer easy for her, ever since she had moved to this Town. Sure, she had A brother who owned one of the Biggest stables, and A Family who loved her. But.. Gissey Lets call her Lilly for now Did not like pity from others, unless she knew willingly that it was acceptable. Moving on now from the Feed buckets, she went towards the clerk and asked her " Where can I find the Classified Ads?"
Sure enough, the lady knew where and managed to point her in the right direction. There were so many different Kinds of breeds to choose from, including prospects, sizes, and genders. But.. No one in town was hiring, and No one seemed to have the Money to give. Eventually, Lilly would get herself a horse of amazing majesties. One day..Just one day I will Own my Own herd. Suddenly..she saw a Woman. She reconized this woman somewere before... No WAY! It couldn't Be..The Next door Ranch!
Ignoreing the fact that she should ignore her and just find out who she is the regular way.. This would be the perfect time. Easily, she made up her salutation and walked up to the woman. She was near the saddles, looking at one of the most expensive, yet beautiful Saddles on the market today. With some charm and Wit, Lilly began to talk to her.... "Howdy, My Name is Gissey, you can call me lilly. I noticed you were my Brothers' neighbor, and I wanted to meet you. I hope you dont mind me asking, but what is your name?"
That was all Lilly thought would be needed to be done at the moment...now to wait

Taking a look over the girl Riley's shallow nature kicked in, but before her rude response was spoken, Riley bit her tongue. Being rude to the neighbor's little sister just might get her in trouble, which happened to be something she shouldn't do right now. Not while Sarah was still considering that boarding school.
Riley Bank. It's my sisters stable, and yeah, i do believe we're neighbors. So, your brother owns that place huh? I mean obviously i haven't seen much of it, but it looks good.
Wow, go me, that was so smooth Self criticism didn't show, it never did, never would, Riley was too proud to admit that she had sounded like an idiot. She had been this way since the age of four, at which point she decided she didn't want her sister to lead her around, she wanted to ride by herself. Of course Riley had chosen to 'ride' a bolter, and had found herself in the middle of a paddock with what was lucky to be a twisted ankle. The fact that there were no broken bones managed to shock the whole family. Riley blamed it on the pony and she was on the float to the sales by the next day. That's just the sort of person Riley was - nothing was her fault, and anyone who tried to argue that was removed from the equation.
So i'm guessing you ride?
An assumption yes, but if she lives on a place like she does, with horses around all day, and she likes to visits places such as this to check out the new jumping saddle then it wouldn't be a long shot to guess that she rode, or at least has ridden.
Sarah and Riley had always been interested in horses and when their dad had suggested here, they had jumped at the idea. Riley tried to ride everyday, if not more, she did, after all, want to keep her boy looking good. She'd start showing him once he got settled. Make him worth his keep. Though he had nice lines, she could probably sell him on that, anyway would pay to have him, with his lines and conformation.

I dont think she likes me... With that cleared out of Lilly's mind, what more would be left to be done. So it wasn't her stable either, But her sisters...Interesting. Listening to the words that were spoken to her, Lilly began to make a puzzle of what she was saying, chaning her lyrics around so it would differ and make her voice sound much more pleasent. " I do think it looks nice, But I havent had the time to really look at it closly." Lilly said to Riley. She looked a little saddened or depressed at her own watch. Lilly knew she must be leaving soon, but without the whim of hurry. Lilly had to go tend to her brothers stallion that she planned to breed soon. Quickly without must hesistation Lilly ressponded to her after she asked her the Question "Yes, I do ride...But not as often as I should"
With that being said, Lilly soon realized what time it was, and she needed to leave urgently. "I have to leave you now, goodbye!" Then she left, taking a horse magazine that was free out with her.

Riley watched her leave, a slight frown upon her face. bye She her tones reasonably quiet, she wasn't expecting that. She didn't mind it. Riley didn't really think being friends with Lilly would hold much for her, but still. sure, ok, now lets get back to the saddles
Hands running over the brown leather jumping saddle her frown didn't move. It's just one saddle, one little saddle ... Sarah won't mind, surely. I need it. She didn't need any more convincing than that.
Taking out her money she found the nearest sales lady and made a few inquiries. It was what she wanted, there was no doubt about that. But was it worth it? Riley wasn't sure if Sarah would be mad beyond belief or if she'd get over it. But at that time Riley didn't really care, all she cared about was that saddle.
After speaking to the lady for a little while and handing over her card, Riley was on her way out, saddle with her. Placing it in the back seat she hopped into the front, started the car and went on her way to Blue Bank. She wasn't eager to see Sarah but it had to be done sooner or later, and it was probably better if it was sooner.
